The images and fonts on this CD need a supporting program to be used. With the fonts, simply install them and they will appear within your normal font list in any program you may be using. Images are imported or inserted into a document or file that you may be working on. This can be done in the following ways:
1- Using the Import command (sometimes called Place, Insert, or something similar). This tells your program that you desire to "add" something to your page, in this case a graphic. Once selected you would need to direct the location to where the graphic files are located. This would be your CD-Rom drive unless you have copied the files to a hard drive. Then just select an image and OK it to add it to your page. The exact wording and steps vary with each program out there, but the concept is the same.
2- Drag and drop the image file onto a program you wish to open it in. Most programs support this. A new file will then be opened with the image(s) already inserted into it.
Once the image is in the program, it is up to your usage of the program to make it do what you wish. You should be able to resize, move, and print among other things. Check with your program's documentation and help files for more specific information.
Copying to your hard drive:
You can use all of the images directly from the CD. However, if desired, you can copy them to your hard drive by simply dragging and dropping a file or folder from the CD to the desired location. You can create new folders to help in managing the different collections you may have.
This comes in handy when you are using specific formats or collections more often.
License Agreement:
CAN WE TALK? Finally a copyright that really makes sense !! The artists have worked hard to provide you with a variety of art and fonts to help you with your crafting needs. The designs and fonts in this package are protected by United States Copyright laws. Permission is hereby granted with the purchase to use these designs and fonts on a limited basis for PERSONAL USE ONLY. Redistribution is prohibited. Each package is to be used by a single user. That does not mean Aunt Nellie and your neighbors, just you! If they love this program and really want it...great gift idea: purchase one for them or provide a gift certificate created in one of the great PC HugWare programs.
Use in Advertising, Newsletters & Magazines:
Enhancing advertising and newsletters is allowed with our designs/fonts. The legal purchase of the CD is required, along with notification of the intent to use our designs/fonts as decorative illustrations in any magazines. Credit to the illustrator/artist/Provo Craft should be given when possible.
Presenting this designs/fonts as a pattern for artists in a magazine, newsletter or advertisement is stictly forbidden without written consent.
Internet/World-wide Web Usage:
The use of our designs/fonts on web sites is allowed provided the following: It should be used to enhance, decorate or as advertisement only. The use of any of these designs/fonts for profit or commercial use is forbidden without written consent. The legal purchase of the CD is required along with written notification of intent to use our designs/fonts images for your web site. Please include your address (and e-mail address) with this notification. Please do not allow the images to be used by anyone other than your household unless they purchase their own CD.
Limited Warranty:
One CD Rom is provided with each package. (If you got 2, lucky you!). It is guaranteed against defects under normal use for 30 days from date of purchase. It Æs always a good idea to tape your receipt on your software package. This way it Æs always easy to find for dates, store name, etc..
Limitation of Liability
Under no circumstance, including negligence, shall Provo Craft, pcCrafter, Stratus Design or its suppliers be liable for any special or consequential damages or loss that result from the use of, sell of, or the inability to use or sell, the software or related documentation.

The problem will be solved free of charge, notice that this is only for defective CD ROMS. Not CDs that have been stepped on or used for frisbees.
